The farm or "basse-cour" of the castle of Ecaussinnes-Lalaing which would date from the origins of the castle estimated in the XIIIth century. It is located in a classified site. This renovation project aims to federate a dynamic around the castle of Ecaussinnes-Lalaing and its surroundings, including the Farm of the Lower Court, the adjoining fields and gardens. This dynamic advocating the values of sharing
and ecology will emanate from a global project around permaculture.
The renovation program is divided into three concomitant entities: Agriculture, Pedagogy and Habitat.
