Inside a regional park designed as a botanical garden, the buildings house a regional center (HoAREC: Horn of Africa Regional Environment Center), for research, promotion and environmental management.
It was entirely built with local resources - like earth, and introducing indigenous and fast growing eucalyptus as primary building material to local companies.
